Aw. Pure genius.
I was here. I was near the fences. You were just brilliant Matt.
It was hella funny cause while I was waiting to get your autograph I had a poster that said “Matt Nathanson I love you. I want to live at the bottom of the sea with you.” People were like.. Matt Nathanson?! Cause they thought it was for the giants. hahha. But I was enlightening them with your music

Hey Matt Nathanson! I was at the game - I always go to the Giants’ home opener - and I had no idea you were singing the anthem, so it was a welcome surprise. You sounded great, and I know it’s not easy, as you’re trying to sing a tough song while hearing your voice rebound off dozens of PAs, with up to half a second delay. I did it once long ago and almost interrupted myself I was so surprised by the sound. Your falsetto was true on the “free,” and the game was fantastic.

Heh, love that the video cut off Rice & Young’s intro. Good job MN!

One of the very best, most honest, heartfelt renditions I’ve ever heard–almost makes me a Giant fan–no, still love my Cards. But an awesome to the nth degree performance.

Matt you are “The Bomb” - great rendition and really from the heart. Must have been scary for you but you brought it home.

NICE - gave me goosebumps
Like your version of the “waaa…aa -aa -aave”

I just wanted to say one of the best parts of this reel, aside from your orgasmic singing and deliciously eye-candyish looks, is the camera panning to the baseball players who are exchanging looks of admiration at your amazing voice! I hope this passes through your blog editors b/c I know the world agrees, I feel it would be a disservice to everyone to hold back in anyway.

This was pretty damn cool! Almost as cool as if you would sing “If I Had a Boat” when you’re in Iowa City on Sunday. That would be seriously amazing

You rock the shit out that song, and it’s a tough one! Nicely done!
