Matt… Great news about your new recording–very much looking forward to it–so that explains why you haven’t have any tour dates up, lately. Please do come to Portland, Maine, for a full MN show (not just as a warm-up act)! I caught you last year with Amy and Emily in Northampton, MA, and was left wanting a much longer MN set. Thank you so much for allowing recordings of your show to be posted at Archive.org… http://www.archive.org/details/MattNathanson . Note I am careful not to play your live show recordings in front of the kids–love your act, but the language is a bit much for the younger crowd. I do recall you noticing a young girl (7-8, maybe?) at the Indigo Girls show after you had some sort of adult-oriented discussion (don’t recall the specifics)–oops. Anyhow, looking forward to your new stuff, and your next tour. My wife is a big fan, too.
